One of the trips where my father, Pat Smith snr. acted as photographer. The trips were organised by, to give them their proper name, Lochwinnoch Old Age Pensioners Association. 

Jimmy Spiers was the secretary of the association. He worked as Signalman at (old) Lochwinnoch Station and, I guess, instrumental in hiring the train for the excursion. Try doing that today!
