The purpose of the site is to help those new to the village to connect with its past and for those who have left for pastures new to remember what was left behind
Probably taken in the late 1800's or early 1900's. The three buildings in the background have been refurbished and are in use today. The building on the right of the group of three is shrouded in trees in the next photographs taken in 2011. It is just visible through the branches of the trees in the final photograph taken in January 2017.

Taken in May 2011. Taken from a different angle to the previous photograph it is still clear that the building in the foreground matches the middle building in the group of three in the previous photograph - note the three windows per storey as the identifying characteristic. The right hand building in the group of three is shrouded in the trees in this photograph.
