Young Tom Storrie flanked on his left by his Granny Elizabeth Carswell my dad's auntie. She is watching him closely. What mischief is being thought off behind that wee innocent face? On Tom's right is Mrs Spiers.
Tom was born in 1953 according to the family tree I have. This photo was taken around 1959 making Tom 6 years old. He is clearly school age sporting a Lochwinnoch primary school blazer. I've guessed this is 1959 from one of the other photographs in this page in which I can be seen.
I posted this picture in Lochwinnoch Past and Present and a shot of Tam as an adult was posted by his grandaugher. It was mentioned he played the drums as a youngster and made drums as an adult becoming a cooper (ok not drums but rather barrels, hogsheads, butts and puncheons).
In the background, directly above Tom's head is Norrie McGinigal (10 or 11 years old) and on his right is his mum and dad. A very young (3yrs old) Kenny McGinigal is sitting on his mum's right with his Grandfather's arm around him - Mr O'Hagan. A closer view of this group is in photographs 16 & 17. Kenny and Norrie have an older brother David who is 4 years older than Norrie.

Mr & Mrs. O'Hagan and their grandson, a young Kenny McGinigal, on their left. The photograph is dated 1959 making Kenny around 3 years old. He was in the class below me at school.
Mr & Mrs McGinigal & son Kenny. His older brother Norrie is just out of shot on his fathers left. He can be seen in the background of photograph 7. Kenny and Norrie have a older brother David.
