Winter in Lochwinnoch, cold dry winter days are quite special.

The variety of life in nature is quite stunning. Everything has a place, a job to do and all in harmony.

In days gone bye folk came from far and wide to enjoy walks around the village, especially the Glen. Its not lost its appeal but the Marina and Parkhill Woods probably take centre stage these days.

The Loch, what can one say, we have been attracted to water throughout the ages and Castle Semple loch sets the village apart from its neighbours.

Although these were not taken in the village they show things that you don't see every day so we thought worth including.

As with the Action section, Pat snr's formal portraits are complemented here with a more relaxed street photography style.

Although Lochwinnoch has a diverse wildlife we thought it would be nice to include some of natures other wonders we have met along the way.

Lochwinnoch is a pretty village with a pleasing aspect on a hillside overlooking a loch but some other places are, well just spectacular.

Our cities can also be places that are worthy of a photograph or two.
