Gala Days in Lochwinnoch are a major event in the social calendar of the village. Pat Smith regularly videos these events. This is a selection going way back to 1987.

Things happen in Lochwinnoch all the time. Here is a compilation of some of them.

Lochwinnoch has a tremendous photographic record of its history from the early days of photography. Pat has put together this collection of short videos which merge past with present. Then & Now have a commentary so turn the volume on/up.

Pat has made this collection which covers various aspects of Lochwinnoch history or features of the village which have historical significance.

Betty McKellar was a local primary school teacher and farmers wife. After retirement she found a new vocation writing poetry for which she is critically acclaimed. This is a set of videos Pat made of our Lochwinnoch Bard.

A series of digitised super 8 cine film John Smith took of folk he met in the street. Most folk have been named. If you can identify anyone we have missed let us know.
