St Kentigern or Mungo, patron Saint of Glasgow. The great evangelizer of the Straith Cluid Britons who sent missionaries to Orkney, Norway and Iceland. Mungho or Munghie translates as "one dearly beloved".
St Columba - successor of St Ninian who entered his mission 563 AD. He converted the northern Pics to Christianity, as St Ninian did for those in the south.
