Factory Buildings

This is a selection of photographs of the buildings that housed the bleach mill of Hamilton Adam and the block printing works of J&R McKinlay. The bleach works was in operation from around 1771 till sometime in the 1800's. The block printing work commenced operation in 1880 and started in the building of the former bleach works. Block printed ceased in 1965.
