The purpose of the site is to help those new to the village to connect with its past and for those who have left for pastures new to remember what was left behind
Note the arrangement of pulpit and pews within the church is 180 degrees opposite to the current arrangement. Also note the church had twin entrances either side of the tower.

In 1866 major changes were made to the layout of the church. The twin entrances were sealed and access was now though the tower. Minor changes compared to re-orientating pulpit and pews to now face the opposite direction.
