Lochwinnoch
The purpose of the site is to help those new to the village to connect with its past and for those who have left for pastures new to remember what was left behind
Crawford Family Gallery
These photographs were provided by David Williams a decendant of William Crawford who owned the Calder Glen Woollen Mill. The older photographs in the Lochwinnoch gallery were probably taken by David's grandfather, James Hepburn. Jim Haythorne was a work colleague of David's grandfather. He was also an amature photographer who visited Lochwinnoch a number of times and this gallery is a selection of shots he took. The postcard gallery is part of a much larger selection of postcards collected by David's grandmother and these are all of different views of Lochwinnoch.
